SEEKING HELP


In order to grow from who you are to who you aspire to become, you need to know yourself better., "self-awareness," introduced you to the concept of self-awareness, which aims at helping you understand yourself. Now that you have an idea of who you are, it is essential to think of what to do to become a better person. Tips for Seeking Help

1.      Recognise when you have a problem and you need help.

2.      Recognise when you don’t have the answer.

3.      Talk to someone when you do not know what to do about something.

4.      Ask a peer for help when you need it.

5.      Ask a mentor for help when you need it.

6.      Ask people in your community and family for help.

7.      Seek out experts online or through connections to ask for help

 

Importance of Seeking Help

1. You will no longer struggle alone

A problem shared is a problem half solved, when you share your challenges to people who are able to help you it increases your chance of getting the problem solved.

2. You can build better relationships

When you seek help especially from people who are truly empathetic, there is a very high possibility of developing relationships with those people. That will help you not to feel alone anymore.

If your problem is academic-related, seeking help from your mentors, friends and even parents might increase your possibility of doing great again academically

Problems make our lives miserable, so by looking at different ways to solve the problem we increase the chances of improving the quality of our lives as well
